Top 5 - Games of E3 2014

With the E3 behind us, we had the weekend to think about the coolest games we've seen. In this Top 5 video we only used games that had a big presence on the show floor. So there's no space for Zelda, Halo 5: Guardians or Uncharted 4 here. This is our Top 5 games of E3 2014. 5 - Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor. Playing in the time between The Hobbit and The Lord of The Rings, Shadow of Mordor seems to be a simple movie tie-in with an Assassin's Creed feel to it. Looks can be deceiving, because Shadow of Mordor surprised us with its big open worlds, comprehensive nemesis system and awesome combat system. Really keep your eyes open for this one. 4 - Batman Arkham Knight. The British game studio Rocksteady has made a name for itself with Batman Arhkam Asylum and is about to level up with Batman Arkham Knight. Being able to drive through open world Gotham City using the awesome Batmobile is one cool thing, but enabling players to combine driving, exploring and fighting into one smooth flow of awesomeness makes us incredibly hyped for this final chapter of the Batman Arkham series. 3 - Assassin's Creed Unity. The fact that Assassin's Creed Unity is the first next gen exclusive game in the series, is reason enough to get excited about this game. On top of that AC Unity plays during one of the most interesting times in European histor: the French Revolution. It can be played by four players co-operatively and features an extremely interesting setting with old school Paris. 2 - Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. The new games in the Metal Gear Solid franchise are a complete departure from the mission structured rooms you've come to love after the past decade. Ground Zeroes only provided a sneak peak, but Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain gives you EVERYTHING, all at once, straight from the start. Phantom Pain provides an open world, an open mission structure, a Mother Base to build and defend within a sort of meta game. The Phantom Pain sure has A LOT to offer. 1 - The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It doesn't happen often that we are blown away by the looks of a game, but CD Projekt pulled it of by showing us The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The vast open worlds look stunning, while quests and dangers can be found around every corner. The developers have spend efforts on every small detail of the game, where day and night, the weather and environments affect every quest and every battle. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt got us hyped and we can't wait to play this game. Follow us on Twitter -.
