Now, if you’re not aware, there has recently been a new pokemon sun and moon trailer that has been released, showcasing the new legendary pokemon typings and abilities, confirmation of the several islands and character customization and one thing that sticks out in particular, the rotom pokedex. The rotom pokedex looks like an amazing new addition to the pokemon franchise, and it looks to deliver loads of new features for pokemon sun and moon that haven't been seen in previous generations. Whether or not the rotom pokedex will be another form of rotom that can battle still remains a mystery, but rotom pokedex will definitely help the player out along their journey. With regards to all that, todays video will go over potential new pokedex features that may be in pokemon sun and moon. Since X and Y, the pokedex has been getting upgrades making it easier to find rare pokemon and even shiny pokemon, as well as receiving the shiny charm once completed. There has been a few screenshots and videos showing some new features that will be in pokemon sun and moon regarding the pokedex, so with all of that being said, this is my potential new pokedex features in pokemon sun and moon, lets get started. Starting things off, we obviously have to look at the new rotom pokedex. This image shows the new rotom form floating in front of the player. For some reason, this reminds me of navi the fairy that follows the hero in the legend of zelda games, and if they implemented this into pokemon sun and moon where you could have the option to do this, I think it would be an amazing addition to the games. The Rotom Pokédex shows your current location and your next destination, and it also gives you advice on where to go next, based on the conversations you have with others. It's likely to be of great help to you in many parts of your adventure. So yeah, it’s not a crazy theory. This footage here shows a little bit more of the new rotom pokedex, and how it may work. It looks like it shows the map of the town you’re in, as well as being able to set destination points with flags so that you dont get lost. This of course isnt anywhere near all of the features this thing will possess, just the simple ones to increase the hype for it. This next bit of footage shows how your pokedex will look, as well as it looking absolutely amazing, it also seems like you may get the national dex at the start and a completion percentage. I do really like the layout of it all though, and cant wait to see more. Another new feature that will be involved with the pokedex in pokemon sun and moon is the QR scanner. In Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, there is a QR Scanner function that allows you to see information about Pokémon when you scan QR Code patterns. With the QR Scanner, you scan in a QR Code and check the information about the Pokémon that corresponds to that QR Code. There are QR Code patterns in various places all around you, so try scanning them. The last part of that paragraph makes me feel that it will be in some way connected to Pokemon GO which is the new app that is being released later this year. Of course that’s all just speculation, but it would be cool if the two games were linked in some way, and I feel that this would be the most likely option for them to connect with.
