Resident Evil 4 PC vs PS3 Graphics and Sound Comparison - 1080p Max Settings vs 720p Console HD
It's that time again everyone, time for another Resident Evil 4 port. But this time, we're promised a PC version that isn't as ungodly as it was last time. With "redone" textures, models and sounds, and now with 60 frames per second, is RE4 on PC worth playing through again. Well, aside from RE4 being a great game and all, the surprisingly updated visuals give you more than enough reason to go through again. If you're like me and have beaten the game several hundred times, you'll enjoy going through and noticing every little detail they changed. But enough talk, watch the video and tell me if you notice a difference as much as I did. Also, PLEASE watch in 1080p, so you can see the difference in resolution much more clearer. PS3 footage was recorded in 720p using the Elgato Game Capture. PC footage was recorded at 1080p, at max settings, using Fraps. (Motion Blur was turned off, it is so awfully excessive.. Makes you feel like Leon is drunk.). PC Specs for those interested:. CPU: AMD FX 6100 Six Core Black Edition 3.30. RAM: 8GB DDR3. GPU: PNY GTX 660. PSU: 700W. Also, if you're about to type "omg nerd ur just comparing cutscenes and not gameplay" keep in mind that the cutscenes shown are in real-time, and using the in-game engine. A later video will be showing off the advantages of 60fps..
