MMA superstar Angela Lee insists 'it's only the beginning' after winning title aged just 19. At just 19-years of age, Angela Lee tore up the history books of MMA last weekend when she defeated Mei Yamaguchi at ONE: Ascent To Power in Singapore. The third round was all about my instincts, said Lee. At the beginning of the round,. she came right at me from the bell and caught me. As soon as I hit the ground I was able to gather myself and stay calm. Once she slapped on the armbar I just knew I had to fight it off and I obviously just held out long enough for her to second guess that she had the angle in correctly. When she tried to change it up a bit I was able to bend my elbow and work on getting out. After surviving a difficult third round, Lee went on to reestablish her dominance and she herself went on to try and win the fight inside the distance with several submission attempts. It was an incredible fight and there was just so much emotion," admitted Lee.
