Hey guys, this is my Nottingham UK based Miami Trip ride I built a while ago, yes, unfortunately the backflash is white and has stayed that way for quite some time now, considering I've no idea how to make textures or a model with similar dimensions to that featured in the game so I could give it artwork, but ohwell. The ride itself took about 3 weeks to complete after endless picture viewing and measurements, it used to utilize a lighting program that stacked the lights in both directions along the lighting units on the backflash. I've recently updated with it a DMX-type system that has 3 programs. The ride is operated using 2 powerful motors at the back with an output of 10000 (Gmod) And have added weights to those motors to make it more responsive when switching directions. Those motors are connected to 2 drive gears located in a housing next to the gear that the arm is attached to. It has 2 counterweights at the back that are interconnected to assist the ride and take less stress off the motors when driving upwards or downwards. The platform has a hydraulic dropping floor, and there's also 2 disc brakes just behind the motors which use 4 very powerful thrusters to keep the gondola in place while it's in loading position, this also helps to regulate the speed while the ride is in motion.
