Their first theme is Spooky Ghost because Ross loves some spoopy ghosts – he briefly switches the theme to Very Scare, but returns it to the first theme and gets called out for his shenanigans. We’re visited by a very sad Barney, and Ross nears the end of his build of…a house. It’s supposed to be a spooky haunted house, but he hasn’t added the ghost yet – with thirty seconds left, Ross scrabbles to construct a ghost out of wool, and it simply does not go well. Red built a little ghost with “boo,” then they run into a plot that features someone looking into a mirror to discover that he’s the ghost – it terrifies Ross. Max built a little ghost named Jimmy and is offended that no one appreciated it, and Max is incredibly tickled by the ghost with a fabulous face that ends up winning. The next theme is Submarine, but Ross switches it to Submarine Sandwich and elects to build Subway’s famous $5 footlong. He makes the bread out of wood and makes the toppings what I can’t only assume are tomatoes, lettuce, maybe sriracha, some mustard, and, I don’t know, eggplant. Ross decides to turn his sandwich into a submarine, while Max built a big sandwich with a lot of mustard and Red built a sandwich with a toothpick and olive on top.
