XB1, CoD Black Ops 3 G12, 2-player local splitscreen, Custom Hardpoint on Havoc.
Hello YouTube. I have become aware of the implode-like reaction regarding this year's Call of Duty, Infinite Warfare by Infinity Ward certienly. I like science fiction in CoD, but was not expecting that all 3 developing teams that now support the franchise would go in that direction, myself being well aware that a portion of CoD fans like to play boots-on-the-ground style. One member of our Crew is also kin on World War shooters, me letting him know about upcoming Battalion 1944 I think it's called, and now Battlefield 1. I find myself scratching my head as to why Activision apparently didn't thought of the idea of taking advantage of the flexibility that 3 developing teams would provide. How about one of the 3 teams focusing on making past/historical CoDs set in the WWI and WWII era. Another team would then focus on the present day/modern CoDs, while finally, team number 3 would continue to go in the science fiction direction. That way there would be a CoD for everyone I guess. That said, had Infinity Warfare was done by Treyarch, I would be OK with it. I like their take on the Sci Fi spin thus far, the movement system employed in here certainly more conservative than that of Sledgehammer's Advanced Warfare for instance. Infinite Warfare seems like a good follow up to Black Ops 3. I always thought it would be unfeasible/to much to buy a CoD game every year for various reasons. Instead, I did some research into the then 2 companies that where involved and choose Treyarch. Reason being because of the AI Bots/4-player splitscreen support combo the original Black Ops offered. Black Ops 2 AI Bots where improved to the point of being able to be used in objective based modes. A great achievement I thought. The good news continued with Black Ops 3 when I heard Treyarch's interviews about their love of splitscreen support in a time when the Splitscreen Community was rattled by the Halo franchise losing it with Halo 5: Guardians. While it's true that am hoping it is either Sledgehammer and/or Infinity Ward who ends up bringing the WWI/WWII back to this franchise, the primary objective of this channel is to represent the Splitscreen Community :-) Am am therefore prepared if it is Treyarch the one who ends up doing that. Anyways. After our warm-up fighting AI Bots, it was time to give Firebreak a proper shakedown. But charging his Purifier can take time in a more serious match like this one. Fortunately, I managed to put it to good use instead of just getting killed the only time I acquired it when it camed down to protecting that Hardpoint, aware that Health was set to 200%. That would be the only thing making this match custom. The shotgun that I took has the ability to focus it's pellets forming almost like a single slug. There was a shotgun in Black Ops 2 that fired a single slug which proved powerful enough to take out a 200% health player. It is actually good that wasn't the case here because it would make things unbalanced. Two shots are required with this one, while ADS. But alas, I got distracted and forgot to put attachments to it. So much for my weapons check :-/. We team up against 2 AI Bots on Hardened difficulty. They got us against the wall early on. My experience with bots thus far is that I have found them to be competent in the game's objective modes. This is something that impresses me about Treyarch. Back in the days of the first Black Ops I remember Treyarch was asked if bots could be used in objective modes. They answered that it was not technically possible. So is nice to see they tackled that challenge head on. While I do prefer Domination, Hardpoint is still cool since the objective moves around. Had the objective stayed in one place all the time, it would had been quite difficult for me to like the mode. It would get a bit repetitive. Having a multiple simultaneous objective setup like Domination are my favorite modes because I feel like they add a dash of real time strategy into the mix. And I suspect that's why such modes are popular in this and other games. Enjoy!.
