Hearthstone - Deck Spotlight #1 - Immortal Throne Paladin (Giants Paladin v2)

Decklist:. Equality x2. Holy Light x2. Sunfury Protector x2. Wild Pyromancer x2. Big Game Hunter x2. Coldlight Oracle x2. Consecration x2. Hammer of Wrath x2. Defender of Argus x1. Senjin Shieldmasta x2. Faceless Manipulator. Sludge Belcher x2. Guardian of Kings x1. Lay on Hands x1. Tirion Fordring x1. Alexstrasza x1. Mountain Giant x2. Molten Giant x2. There is still some cards in this deck up for debate, like the senjins, having 1 or 2 big game hunters, or having 1 or 2 consecrates. For me there is 2 criterias for a succesful deck, being able to out control the other control deck, and being able to survive aggro rush, and this deck. does both of those things very succesfully. But the deck in itself is very simple, it's about card drawing, throwing out giant threats and allowing your opponent to get free hits in on you so you can. stop him dead in the tracks with molten giants and mountain giants, but also removing smaller threats with hammer of wrath and consecrate. So there's a couple of questions I've gotten about this deck, why 2 big game hunters when nobody barely uses big game hunter. There's at the moment a high percentage of control decks with 7+ attack creatures galore, like handlock and giant mage. Why coldlight oracle, you give your opponent cards as well right. Coldlight Oracle is an amazing card that allows you to draw more cards than usual, enabling removal from yourside and most of all the mountain giant. It's also amazing versus handlock because it forces him to overdraw while keeping you at 8 or 9 cards on turn 4 enabling mountain giant. So far this deck has brought me a high win percentage from rank 25 to 8 but has yet to prove itself in legend. I plan to hit legend tomorrow when season 7 starts, or at least try to go for it. Against Zoo:. Keep & Mulligan for Molten Giants, Senjin's, Consecrates and Hammer of Wraths. Against Handlock:. Keep Mountain Giants, Big Game Hunters, and Coldlight Oracles. Against Control(Warrior, Paladin, Priest). Keep Mountain Giants, Hammer of Wrath, and Coldlight Oracles. Against TheFishous Secret Aggro mage:. Concede, this deck is hardcountered by two things in that deck, frontal damage spells when on low hp and mirror entity..
