HOLD THE DOOR. (Sung to the tune of “Hold the Line” by Toto. You’re welcome.) Well, here we are – calling our relatives, calling out of work sick, and drowning beneath the waves of three fate-sealing words that consumed an innocent man’s tragic life as he gave it up for a naïve greenseer who tasted the Night King’s kiss of death. I, like so many others, was blindsided to this heartbreaking blow, and am now in awe as the show has irrevocably transformed our understanding of the past, present, and future – and an unsung hero whose vocabulary was distilled down to “Hodor” by a distant, urgent call to action that spelled out his life’s unforeseen mission. New chords are beginning to surface in this brutal song of ice and fire. Is the past writing the future. Is the ink truly dry. And by the way, is the Queen of Dragons the key to the seven kingdoms, or the victory over a ubiquitous enemy whose adversary is mankind’s existence. I’m losing it over here, people. Losing it. Three words was all it took to change the nature of reality itself… Let’s lick our wounds and delve into the madness together, shall we. Thanks so much for watching. Thank you for 10,000 subscribers.
