After getting all these different CPUs in, some with higher core counts and some with higher clocks, I decided to pit the i5-6600k against the i7-3930k, e5-2658v3 and lastly my Dual e5-2670 Xeon Rig to see who was the gaming king. I did this with my 980ti and dropped settings to what I would usually play at 1440p to see how stressed the CPU would be come and ironically all the single CPU setups performed really well, it was only the Dual Setup in some games that performed below par, though still came in with all minimums above 60, which is a great thing. |--| So I guess if you are a gamer you will want a single CPU setup and still even in 2016 4 cores will do you perfectly fine (though these were skylake cores at 4.6ghz).
