Perhaps my best accomplishment on this game, thinking long term. A few years ago I had a lot of trouble FCing songs like Llama, Smoke on the Water, and Free Bird (took me hours to FC each of those for the first time). Over a year later, I managed to FC Roundabout for the first time, which must have taken over 10 hours. To tell myself one day that I would be so consistent on every song in this game, INCLUDING ROUNDABOUT, that I would be comfortable FCing every song in the game as quickly as possible under pressure with the last song being exponentially harder than the rest. that is a feat I am extremely proud of. So, this video is me FCing every single disc song in the game on pro keys. There are 63 songs in the game on pro keys, and Rock Band ranks these songs by tier. I figured the most "legitimate" way to do this speedrun would be to play each song in order of ranked difficulty as determined by the game. Optimally, this speedrun would take a little under 5 hours. What this means is that, not missing any song and going through menus/loading as fast as possible, I would finish the speedrun in about 5 hours. Did I expect that time in the slightest. Absolutely not. I was hoping for 8-10 hours as a goal. But honestly, with Roundabout being so hard, I wasn't even sure if I would complete the speedrun to begin with. As you can see by the splits in the video, however, Roundabout took me a crazy 20 MINUTES. I have no idea how this happened. It was my second time up to the guitar break, no chokes after. There were many close calls after the break, and any one miss could have cost me possibly hours of time. This is truly something I don't see myself topping. Even besides Roundabout, I managed to slide through the other hard songs really fast. I don't want to give any spoilers if you plan to watch other parts of the speedrun (the full video is linked below), but I can confidently say I've mastered this setlist.
