San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus Heckled During Padres LGBTQ Awareness Game

The San Diego Padres, NBL Baseball Team, LGBTQ event at Petco Park was supposed to promote LGBTQ awareness this past Saturday. However, the event ended with homophobic slurs being directed to performers. San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus , A group made up of 100 volunteer singer, were asked to perform the National Anthem as part in conjunction with 'Out at the Park, an LGBTQ event. The San Diego Gay Men's Chorus was heckled off the field before the game and in the end was not able to perform the National Anthem. San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus made a statement saying that this was a isolated incident.
