An ex-model from rural Northern Ireland, Katie grew up in the rolling hills with a wonderful family. She was humble and caring and loved nothing more than hanging out with her friends in the countryside. She was always interested in fashion, and worked in the local shopping centre. She was a friend to everyone in her village, but had one best friend that dreamed of the high life. She treated Katie to a trip to London to see the ‘big city’, and it was on that adventure, that Katie’s life changed forever. She was scouted for a high-end modelling agency and asked to travel to LA to begin a new life in the industry. She dreamed of the fashion, the make-up and the parties, and so with no persuading at all, she jetted off to start her career. She attended the biggest events, wore the most fabulous clothing she could have ever dreamed of and was surrounded by people who though the world of her. She was showered with gifts, compliments and men.Things were going amazingly until she started to get cocky. She expected the best of the best, the most money, and the highest of standards in everything. She became known as a diva and people didn’t want to work with her. She lost touch with her family and friends, and began to lose money rapidly as she tried to keep up the same style of life. Eventually she fell out the industry and ended up in Oasis Springs. Realising she had made a mistake, she knew she had to start from scratch and build her own life. She wants to make the best life possible for herself, and her future family.
