Welcome to our Taiwan (台灣), Kaohsiung (高雄) vlog. We upload every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. You can also look back at our old daily videos. Today, we took the motorbike out for a long-awaited road trip. We invited our friends, Jenson and Bek to ride to Kending with us. My gosh, it was hot. A great adventure nonetheless. Bek got a flat tyre but nothing that a garage couldn't fix. For some reason, it took us a long time to find a garage though. It seemed like the only garages that were open were for cars. BUT eventually we found a place. If you look closely enough, when the man at the garage was spraying the tyre, another hole was bubbling away. We all missed this at the time so on the way back home, Bek had to get another hole repaired. _________________________________________________________________. ABOUT US: We are Paul and Chloe (and a dachshund, Eddie.) On August 1st 2013 we moved from Kettering, England to Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Since the beginning, we've documented our settlement in this new country. If you've watched us from the beginning, you've seen us teaching English and studying Chinese. Paul is applying for a scholarship this year as he hopes to earn an engineering degree. Chloe works full time but aspires to own her own online business. On a day-to-day level, we like good home cooking and some baking but we also love to eat out and sample all the different coffee shops and restaurants. Paul, who was obsessed with cars in the UK, is now besotted with motorbikes. Unfortunately, at the beginning of this year, we were both hit by a car whilst on Paul's bike. We are still waiting for bike repairs and we shall be taking the man to court for the incident. Chloe likes to get crafty every now and then and likes to make things for around the home. She also likes to dominate video editing and she occasionally dabbles in photoshop. As a couple, we are constantly torn between funding a fun lifestyle (seeing other parts of Asia and day trips around Taiwan) and wanting to live in a nice apartment. We absolutely adore our Kaohsiung city apartment. You can look forward to vlogs from the swimming pool in summer. _________________________________________________________________.
