CCS WildCards: Gay Captain America, Marvel's Civil War, and Pretentious Indie Games!

CCS WildCards: Gay Captain America, Flawless Female Characters, and Pretentious Indie Games. The most recent CCS Patreon Livestream was so good that we have decided to split it into two WildCards compilations. In Part 1, LaughingMan and CineMax spend most of the running time ignoring their fans so that they can have a discussion about arbitrary changes to iconic fictionial characters in order to send a positive message (#GiveCaptainAmericaABoyfriend), the "bleak and sour" feel of Marvel's film adaptation of the Civil War storyline, as well as seemingly flawless female protagonists (and antogonists, too!) who never have anything bad happen to them — lest their creators get accused of mysogyny. Afterwards, the two are joined by (at this point) series regular Kahuna Drake to talk some more about the recent upcropping of pretentious indie "non-games" trying to beat gamers over the head with this or that political message. CineMax also introduces everyone to "Loneliness" — a short flash game with a message at the end (SPOILER: the message is about high suicide rates in South Korea) that's basically the entire walking simulator genre in a nutshell. Part 2 coming out next week. References:. Captain America x The Winter Soldier:.
