For the meantime, here are a few things to look out for in the Pokemon Sun and Moon announcement. |--| Explore the Alola Region in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon. More Of The Region. The next region of Pokemon is looking to be bigger than ever. Alola borrows themes from Hawaii, and there are several areas in the game. From the Pokemon Sun and Moon gameplay trailer released way back, we saw a small portion of the next region. We’ll probably see more of it in the announcement, and Game Freak might even disclose just how big it is. New Features. There are several new features introduced with each Pokemon entry, and Pokemon Sun and Moon are probably not exempted from this. There’s a lot Game Freak might bring to the table, and the possibilities are big this time. Some rumors point to the protagonist being able to ride more than just a bike in the game. Perhaps what fans want to see more is a new battle feature, one of which could be Burst Evolutions. This type of evolution further strengthens Pokemon by allowing them to fuse with their owners. Burst Evolutions first appeared in a non-canon manga but has since reached the animated series, with Greninja fusing with Ashe at one point. More Pokemon. It’s an entirely new generation of Pokemon to catch once again. So far, we’ve seen the starters and the Legendaries.
